Diego Undies

Gabriella is in the full swing of potty training and we are ready to make the move to wearing big girl panties.  She and I were at the store with Grandma and we strolled to the aisle with panties and I thought Gabriella would take great pride in picking out some with Dora or the Disney Princess or something pink and girly. 

Not my little sweetheart!  She wanted Diego underwear.  I tried to explain to her that they only made Diego for boys and she could buy Dora instead.  She wanted nothing to do with Dora or pink or girly.  I finally put a package of pretty girl panties in the cart and turned to look at something else when I heard a thud and a surprised sound from Grandma.  Gabriella took the panties out of the cart and threw them as far down the aisle as she could! 

Grandma was the unlikely target. 

I tried this again.  Same result only her arm was warmed up and she was able to launch the panties even further!

Gabriella sat down in the cart and sobbed.  Not the "I'm throwing a temper tantrum" cry, but the "You just broke my heart" cry. 

She wanted to wear Diego undies. 

We bought Diego undies.
