My cousin Cory is in the military and was being sent overseas to Afghanistan for a year.  He and his son Caden came to Minnesota to visit before his deployment.

100 Point Club for AR Books! Way to go Kyle!

Kyle has always been a reader.  This year we set a goal for Kyle to reach 100 points in the Elementary school AR Reading program.  He passed his goal in April.  Way to go Kyle - we are so proud of you!

Friday Night Whites

This Friday night Kyle was at a sleepover so it was just the three of us.  We went to Guitar Center.  As a musician, this is one of Clavin's favorite places.  We made it out pretty light, only one new microphone and extension cord.  Of course Gabriella tried out a few pianos and keyboards.

Afterward we had dinner at Downtowner Woodfire Grill in St. Paul.  I had a great appetizer with chevre cheese, roasted beets, apricots and roasted red peppers.  It was a wonderful combination of sweet and spicy.  Our entree was sword fish kabobs with rice and roasted vegetables.
