Strawberry Picking

In June the berry farm opened and we headed to High Hopes Berry Farm in Cloverdale, MN to pick strawberries.

There were so many delicious berries it was hard to stop picking...

Gabriella had her own bucket and she did pick a few berries.  But faster than she could pick, she would eat the big, juicy, red ones!  She quickly learned to move on to your bucket and taste your big ones too!

Kyle was cast in the role of "Starkey" one of Captain Hook's first mates.  The kids auditioned and were cast on Monday.  They rehearsed all week and had two performances, Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

The cast, crew and directors did an amazing job pulling an entire play together in a weeks' time.

Kyle was awesome!  Not only did he have a speaking part but he got to use a prop gun as well as his sword!
